Shift Performance
Rebuild a stat line from an arbitrary slice of shifts — by quality of competition, zone start, score state or implied purpose — instead of trusting aggregates to adjust for them perfectly
Shooter/saver talent
Every shooter and goalie's talent posterior as of any date — the log-odds the shot model carries for them, with its uncertainty and the year of shots behind it.
Badges
Every skill and role badge currently held, by player and position group. Filter to a badge, a position or a name.
Before-and-after
Pick a date — a trade, a coaching change, an injury — and set any player's or team's numbers on one side of it against the other, over a window you choose.
These metrics have no counterpart on other sites, which has pros and cons. Nothing else publishes them, and nothing else can be used to check them. The counting stats behind them are validated against the NHL and multiple major public analytics sites. The metrics themselves are tested only for repeatability and for whether they predict future goals.
